MEET STEPHANIE
Stephanie L. McKenny
Minister, Author and Entrepreneur
Stephanie McKenny, a native of Montclair, New Jersey. She received her license to preach in August 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Robert Davis at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. She served in that ministry until she moved to South Carolina in 1996.
In March of 1996, she married Bishop Levern McKenny who is the Sr. Pastor of The Love Center Non-Denominational Church in Sumter, SC and Prayer Mountain Ministries. She is an associate pastor and serves in various capacities. Stephanie McKenny has three children and four grandchildren.
She exercises her desire for ministry through conducting an annual women’s retreat (Pearl Sistahs Conference) and facilitating various workshops/conferences for women and teen girls. Stephanie McKenny is a co-sponsor to a teen girls mentoring group at one of the local high schools in Richland School District Two. Stephanie McKenny looks to establish her non-profit organization for girls (Walk With Her Mentoring Group).
Stephanie McKenny graduated from Columbia College in Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child & Family Studies (Early Childhood Education). She has completed her graduate studies with a Masters in Counseling at Webster University (October 2018).
Stephanie McKenny is an author of ten books. Her target audience for writing is with young girls, teens and women. One of her teen books, Better than That, has been turned into a teen stage play production. Her latest book is, Loving Who I Am ~ Inside & Out. Stephanie L. McKenny is also the owner of J & J Publishing Company, a self-publishing company aimed at assisting authors with publications.

A powerful and restorative movement designed to change the lives of women around t​he world. It was in 2019 at the Pearl Sistahs' conference that Stephanie L. McKenny received the theme, "Awaken HER." During that time God had revealed to her that there are many women who have gone in hiding, have gotten stuck, have given up on their dreams and purpose because of something they’ve personally experienced. God is using her to AWAKEN women so that they can walk in their divine assignment. God has every intention to AWAKEN YOU so that you can ARISE and take ACTION to fulfill your divine assignement, start your business, start your ministry, write your book, structure your organization or whatever capacity God has called you to.
